Week Three, Day One

I've decided this week's theme will be a little bit more simpler/broader/probably won't take as much time to do if I don't want it to (because I aint never got time for anything ever fml): Animals! this is good too because Iiiiii have a lot to learn about animals and animal drawing so this will help me (I hope) stretch etc. Here's a turtle I saw on tumblr like fifteen minutes ago

um yeah so um yeah so I suck at doing my actual theme for the week this week, or, indeed, doing this project according to my own rules, but this is kind of standard fair for this blog ANYWAY tonight I am watching How to Train Your Dragon and here are some mostly head studies of mostly Hiccup, whose name, I discovered, would be "Hiksti" in Icelandic and if you don't think that's the coolest/cutest ever you can get out of my face

oh buddy this one is more complete but there are some SERIOUSLY PROPORTION ISSUES and I spent like three seconds on the hands and feet but you know what I was at school for 12 hours today and am ready to sleep forever

alright so I realized if I do only themes based on other things this site will just be a year of fanart, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but that's just not the only thing I want to do with this. SO. Because I so very badly want to get into this animation program, I think that it would not be a bad idea to devote a week (or more lol lbr) to getting my portfolio ready. ok so look. today has not been going my way in many things. One of those is that I forgot my flash drive at home and the computers with the animation software don't have internet for some.. reason. whatever it's stupid. WELL SO I have this great (mean ridiculously stupid) animation of Saitama's head bouncing around (seriously it is sooooo stupid) but I couldn't get it off the computer so tomorrow I will update this post with that, ugh. Week One Day Two - Mumen Rider

today must have been one of those days when I learned a lot because everything was a struggle. EVERYTHING. all the art. I did a lot of drawing that had nothing to do with today's drawing and THE STURGGLE WAS URGLE.

Anyway I feel bad that I bombed this one so badly because I decided for part of One Punch Week to draw Mumen Rider (Licenseless Rider in the Manga) and I love him so much he is such a nice character and so GRATE OVER ALL.

I'm still working on getting a hang of Paint Tool Sai, I really like their little stabilizer thing because my lines are so shaky with my tablet (ugh, maybe because it is so tiny and old?). But the more I use it the more I like drawing with it more than photoshop. Well anyway I drew this garbage and then slapped some colors on in photshop, it is what it is :pppppppppppppp

Week One, Day One - Tatsumaki!

yo yo yo yo yo so I decided with my blog being called 52 stories... 366 whatever something, that each week I will have a theme (I've probably stated this elsewhere) because I am very much not about that short story life slash suck at making myself write every month but november ANYWAY. This week, the first week, I've decided to do One Punch Man, my favourite anime/manga/webcomic super combo of probably all time (...at the moment anyway heh). OK ANYWAY I STARTED OUT WITH TATSUMAKI BECAUSE SHE IS ME IF I HAD out of control psychic powers. she's the best, maybe I just really identify with her napoleon complex/always being mistake for being much younger than I am. Alright enough words more art up in here already

Week 0 Day 2

ooookkkaaayyyy so today's is a little bit not legit because I did it in tvpaint and I only have a demo of that that can't save or export ://////  but I did a little animation (if you want to see what I did come talk to me because I did take a video of it on snapchat haha). But to make up for that here's a sketch I worked on today in Paint Tool Sai which I'm thinking about getting (hooray free trials!) because I've decided that photoshop is no fun to draw in :///// ok here you go

TL;DR ABOUT INFORMATION: I do a drawing everyday that I feel is presentable (more than a doodle, somewhere between a sketch and a completed piece).

Alright so this year for the 52 weeks thing (because last times whole "write a short story every week" DID NOT HAPPEN AT ALL) what I want to do is have a theme or a story or an idea each week that I work off of to do my drawings for this site. I might not do it every week, but that's the goal at least. In this post I'm going to put all the ideas I have for possible weeks! This will be updated as a I think of stuff (or maybe as people give me suggestions?).

    -Gottbleed week (usually like the second week of october or so)

Week 0 Day 1

woop!!!! Let's do this thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 ok calm down. Anyway, because friday is a weird day to start weeks I'm just going to call this week 0 until next monday. Because the last time I did this I started out with a self portrait, I figured I should keep with that tradition!! But I realized pretty much all the self portraits I've ever done ever were REALLY BLAND with NO EXPRESSION that they were really boring and terrible, so I decided to be terrible in different ways by slapping this out. I've been collecting a bunch of snapchats of wild faces I've made and decided that would be a good source for actually interesting self portraits. Please enjoy my 100% accurate nasty snowboarding hair.
